Sassy Shears Hair Design

In 17 years, I remember three times that my Beloved did not cut my hair. Today was my fourth.

Once, I needed a haircut when my wife was in the hospital with my daughter. I thought my haircut was great and then scary happened. Without asking, she ran clippers over an eyebrow, really short. Since she got one, I had to let her do the other for a matching set. Caterpillars turn into butterflies I alway say.

The second was an instant regret dance of death. She used scissors and was expressive with them. I feared for my safety as she spoke about all the loser men in her life while waving the snips around wildly.

The third was right before the corrections training Academy in 2008. We wrecked the hair on accident so I buzzed it nearly to the skin and started over. That was gnarly. (Self Cut)

I needed a haircut, plain and simple.

So, after dropping the car off for an oil change,

I checked google for nearby barbers and started jogging the 2.5 miles home.

I stopped at one place and they looked startled when I went in. Clearly, my lack of mask was offensive to the unmasked beauty commandeering the swivel chair.

Umm… Nope, all good. I think 2020 stripped common decency out the window.

I like it a little actually.

Face value has so much merit and helps me limit choices.

I went to another and they were all appointment filled booked.

Friday hair dressing must be a thing.

Then, there was sassy shears hair design.

There was a sign on the door with phone numbers so I texted them all.

Julz answered.

Julz

was down to earth as they come. While I got permission to blog about my experience, I respect her privacy.

I will say she takes care of her own an offered to get my wife some special hair care when she is out of the hospital.

For 20 US dollars I got a pretty good looking fade if I say so myself.

I told Julz that I have a global audience and she said that was cool. She wanted me to pass on that if you are visiting Colorado, you can get your hair cut, styled, or washed at

Nice lookin’ cut. That’s cool you blessed her with a recommendation on your blog. My Mom worked at nail salons when I was a kid. Good word of mouth advertising goes a long way, and really helps ladies who work in the beauty salon industry. Continuing to pray blessing and healing for your wife. God bless, brother.

Julz was amazing. She is a principled person committed to excellence. I have been leery of barbers for a long time, but she brought back a lot of confidence!

I tried to comment but it requires an account and I don’t have one anymore. I’d make one but don’t wanna risk getting sucked into fb again.!
