Brothers Campfire Harvest Moon -An Ongoing Tale Chapter 28

THE MOON WAS FULL.
MY HEART BEAT FASTER AND FASTER. BEAST WAS NOT STILL. ALL THE PAIN INSIDE SCREAMED TO COME OUT. AGGGGGHHHH!
PAIN
PAIN
PAIN
I AM BEAST. I AM RAGE AND BITTERNESS.
BEAST RAN THROUGH THE FOREST.

WHAT WAS IT?
BEAST WAS QUIET.
BEAST SMELLED A PEQUIN.
NO. PEQUINS.

BEAST DOES NOT BITE WHAT BEAST DOES NOT KILL.

BE STILL BEAST.
CLOSER
CLOSER
THE PEQUINS SAT UNAWARE OF ME. I HOWLED.
I AM BEAST. THEY TURNED.
BEAST ROARED.
I AM BEAST.

ALL IS BETTER NOW.

The moon was full. I was in a rage I could not control.
Day came and then, calm.
I came to myself in horror thinking I had eaten a Forest Person.
Clothing was everywhere, trinkets were on the ground.
I ate the belongings of a Heron Person.
The Heron Village laughed at my stupor.
They entertained themselves with my confusion. They had left out clothing that smelled of predator.

I laugh now! They Joke. They tell me it is a joke.

They bring me trinkets and food. I dwell with them at daytime.
When darkness comes, I am strong. I run with the wind when it blows. I am rage, I eat the flesh of the predator.

I long to sit with Brother at the Campfire. He went to the King for me, and is separated from his family.
Brother is kind.
I am still. I am Beast
