Willow Manor 03/08/2020

Hello Friends!

I am glad warmer weather is on it’s way! Willow Manor is showing a little green. I have been outside visiting with my birds!

Keeping waterfowl is a lot of work during the winter. They need water, not only to drink, but to bathe and keep their eyes moist.

I have several of these in my yard so they fight less.

If you want rich eggs, you must ensure they have fresh water and quality food. These little friends are primarily pets, adopted from homes that could no longer care for them. For eggs alone, they are totally not cost justified.

It’s a labor of love, I assure you.

They are great company in the backyard and sometimes I think they are happy to see me!

Ha ha! Not! Just Feed Us!

Even if they just like me for the food, I am ok with this as I am easy to please.

I must be. My lawn ornament is a tin can!

Don't count the lions. It will make you afraid and slow you down.

          1. I don’t think so. I think I know about one where you go to the location and sign the slip of paper and leave it for the next person. 🙃 I think they’re cool though 😎

  1. I totally understand you, I have around 50 chickens and 7 turkeys, as part of my amusement. Yes, bankrupt describes it well, though I do have an outlet for my eggs, and some of the turkeys go to freezer camp. I am always amazed at the range of personality both chickens and turkeys can have. They are very funny creatures to share space with.

    1. Something bird lovers get to see is the distinct personalities of the birds and the interactions they have with the world surrounding them. Thank you for the comment!

I must say I am thoroughly impressed with your map making skills. I want to be like you when I grow up!

      1. I just tried inkarnate. It is a nice software, but sadly doesn’t suit my needs. The stamps are limited. For example, I need to show a pond, a hill, a small settlement, a farm, a forest, a grove and a campfire on an island. It doesn’t have features for most of that.

          1. Another question, incase I am not irritating you. How did you make that lion logo? I want to make banners for vulpardeo too. I tried using paint, but that looks horrible. I just want to make some symbols with the word Vulpardeo written.

          2. This is what I do as a hobby, Ishaan. You are not an annoyance. You are a friend with similar interests. We help eachother. I am not sure which lion you are talking about. Let me make a resource post so we all have the same info. I want your site to thrive and so does Commander Nicholas! He wants a piece of the action!!!!

          3. Oh, the Northwich Eagle. I used a android application. Use a logo maker on your phone to make banners. Any one will do. You have to purchase heraldry banners most of the time so logo makers are a great route!
