Brothers Campfire Thanks 1000 Readers!

Hello Friends!

Brother’s Campfire has a 1000 Followers and readers from all over the world. Thank you to all!

For real, thank you! I am humbled.

This site had a very simple start and took off from literally nowhere.

I used to play a GPS game with an online forum and realized I could make ingame cash by writing poetry. “To all ranks and stations, a poem for your donations” was my pick up line to bring the cash flow in and it worked well. The Bard was born. He was upbeat and nothing could bring him down.

There were others who wanted deep and emotional writing that captured the inner essence of a sorrowful man. He actually brought more in game cash than the Bard. He started innocent enough with the Bard joking about an animal control officer that also played the GPS game.

The Beast went ever darker into topics of depression and despair and the Bard began to get over the top in his antics and I needed to balance these characters out.

Some things are not worth any dollar sign in game or in real life.

The Brother came last to balance things out. He never earned a penny of precious in game coin.

I needed to get out of the gaming scene and I began deleting apps in July 2018. I wanted to focus more on Jesus and my family.

I told all my gaming buddies I would be severely limiting my game time and left my email address. I was actually surprised when several stayed in contact.

I began writing about the Bard, Beast and Brother in an ongoing tale on August 2nd, 2018 and the journey began. I was shy about it and posted it on blogspot, hastily taking it down. I was embarrassed at my characters and kept them between a small circle of friends I trusted. A dear friend encouraged me and I pitched the idea to my Dad who already knew a little about it. He told me it was a great concept and assisted me in making the self hosted website,

The Fan Art That Inspired Me.

The first post was written August 25th, 2019, over a year after I conceptualized the idea. Eight months later, Brothers Campfire became much bigger than I ever would have imagined. The Bard, Beast and Brother have names and a whole continent is being fleshed out one short story at a time! (in between lifestyle pieces that is!)

I would like to say thank you for your continued support! You are the kindest people in the world and I am fortunate to have made your aquaintance.
