Brothers Campfire Thank You Jesus!

Friends, it is cold and dry on my corner of the world.

I recently used my lawn mower with a bag to rake the yard, leaving the ground exposed to the sun and evaporation.

Have you met Marty, the Motivated Mower?

With no snow, this is not good if you have read anything about farmland becoming a dustbowl.

These are better left in the ground

Well, we prayed for rain or snow and it rained last night, making the ground moist.

It was awesome! It has been so dry!

I want to thank God for taking care of the small things in our lives. He really cares.

The Big Things As Well

I had a scripture on my mind this morning and wanted to share it with you.

The Word of God, The Bible

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.   But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.   Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 10:29‭-‬33 KJV

I am very thankful that God is faithful to take care of His people!

Hello friend! I have a question. I am not a Christian and have read neither the bible nor know anything about it, so excuse me if the question is stupid.
Was the bible written/spoken by Jesus? Or has it been written by various saints? Because I notice the names of saints (eg. Matthew) after quotes from bible and got confused about it.
I know that a quick search on the net can answer my question, but I think you can explain it better, since I remember reading that your read bible every morning.
Thank you and sorry if the question is stupid.

This is a very good question, Ishaan! Men were moved by the Holy Ghost( Which is Jesus) to write the words.

I am excited that you asked thos question, Friend!!

Ishaan, when Jesus moves on you, you feel his presence. When someone surrenders theor mind to Him, their thoughts are not controled, but directed. A little like your story where people are dreaming the same things.
God leads people to be of of the same mind. That is how the Words of the Bible were assembled.

Thanks for the information. I will surely read the bible some day.
Also, I am proud to inform you that I have successfully caught up and read every single one of your posts.

Well I am not planning to read it soon, but surely in the future. I have lots of books pending to be read as of now.

          3. Benjamin says:

The Bible is broken down into Books. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers….and so on. Yes. 783137 words!

I see that it actually is! I thought you read the whole bible every morning. I expected it to be about 20k words. It is a big book for sure

          5. Benjamin says:

I read it through several times a year, but I read writings from it every day!

Also, what are the differences between old testament, new testament, bible, and heron bible

          7. Benjamin says:

First off, Heron are just a story of mine, not to be confused with the Bible.

A testament refers to someone’ wishes or will. The old Testament was a recording of God’s desires, laws and promises among other things.
Blood scarifices of animals were required for wrongdoing.

The New Testament is where God (Jesus)died on a cross and conquered death. He gave His Blood as the sacrifice for wrongdoing.

There is much more to this. It is a quick overview of the progression of the Old to the New Testament.

          8. Ishaan Sharma says:

Thank you for the information. But I wonder why you mentioned the Heron. I am fully aware that Herons are from your story.

          9. Benjamin says:

If you look back on your comments, you wrote”heron bible” 😜

          10. Benjamin says:

Ha ha! The Hebrew Bible is the Old Testament. It is essentially the same as the Bible
