Somber After Summer.

Hello, Benjamin from Brothers Campfire here.

I feel quite somber right now and avoided posting due to it.

My dad helped me assemble this website and dubbed me The Storyteller. I am not sure that I have lived up to it, but it would be nifty to spin a somber tale to deliver my sentiments without hurting any feelings.

Unfortunately, this is not the time. It is time to root hog or die.

Anyway, life has been go go go.

I would not have it another way.

This week, I will wear a taser suit and be the bad guy for training. It is sweaty, requires acting skills and the knowledge that you may get “drive stunned.” It is a rodeo.

I also will be picking up anvil materials. I want to cut a few chunks of metal to give away for budding blacksmiths. My next project in that vein is building a forge. I built a coffee can forge a while back and the time has come to build one of distinction.

Willow Manor is productive this year. Acquiring this free steel was only part of our accomplishments.

We produced grapes for the first time, harvested several pounds of raspberries, and planted four fruit trees. Egg production was excellent and continues.

Notably, our pumpkins were spectacular.

Our bees are thriving as far as my limited scope can ascertain. We recently added a candy and quilt box and painted them accordingly.

Unfortunately, no one will see what you see on the video as it is covered in a bee cozy. (Insulation)

Well, That is all for now.
