Brothers Campfire Emojis, The unspoken words.

Hello Friends!

Welcome to Brother’s Campfire!🤠🔥

I am learning a lot by ✍ writing and 📚 reading everyday. The amazing Pooja Rani who represents herself as🙋showed me the value of emoji communication when there is a language barrier. Rani drew the world famous 😃 smiling campfire for me by the way! Thank you!

I did not realize that there is a library of sorts to utilize emojis as a language. https://emojipedia.org/

I also found someone fluent in emojo on YT. Here is the link https://youtu.be/uWI7zeKpTLs

I discovered the imp👿 …. Importance of appropriately using emojis yesterday when I stated “😡” to the Great Lydia Potter recently. I had no idea it represents cursing to those that speak this language fluently. I am sorry, little sister.

My 👵 grandmother on my dad’s side of the 👪 family spoke in emo😔…. Emoji when she wrote us letters. She did not always have the words so she drew pictures in the sentences. When I find one, I will up☝ … Update this 📫 post.

Thanks for understanding as I embark on this journey to understand emo😔…. Emojis better.

Emojis are honestly so powerful! Even between speakers of the same language, emojis can help to show emotion and convey a particular tone when chatting. Great post 🙂

Wow. Well, I guess it is a sign of the times. Are emojis the hieroglyphics of our day and age?

I used all the letters of the alphabet and no emojis emerged! How do you use them?

          2. Benjamin says:

That sounds really efficient. I wonder if i could blog faster using all my fingers.

          3. Lydia Potter says:

It’s careless and drives me nuts when people say it.
Just don’t write a post about it.
I was going to just tell you something, but I forgot.

          4. Benjamin says:

I am sorry for being careless, causing you to be forgetful. I will not post about it.

          5. Benjamin says:

So sorry … what is a list of things that you find especially annoying?

I really enjoyed reading your post. I found it interesting. It’s strange because I am an artist but I don’t relate to emojis… I feel like I don’t really understand them and that they might not really capture what I want to say. But it is true that using them, once you know their meaning, is a bit like shorthand. Can be useful. When I communicate with my kids in emojis they seem to think i am being glib or offhand. Yet they can add another interesting layer to communication.

Hello, Friend! Welcome to the Campfire!🤠🔥! I am learning about the emoji realm very slowly.
I do most of my blogging from an Android phone and did not know some people copy and paste emojis from a website that defines them. They are readily available on my keyboard.
Therefore, I did not know some had specific meaning, like 😡 being a cursing emoji.

It is a pleasure to have you over for a visit today! I look forward to hearing from you in the future!

South Africa is quite big so some parts get snow but mostly in the mountain ranges. So I will see the snow capped mountains from time to time, but mostly just feel the cold air that comes with it. We have winter rainfall in Cape Town but other parts of the country have summer rains with thunderstorms. Cape Town is described as having a Mediterranean climate. Maybe that’s too much detail 🤦‍♀️

          3. Benjamin says:

That is what I was asking about! Awesome Detail!

We get moderate temperature at the base of the Colorado Rockies. Many times of the year, the mountains have snow on them. Where I live can be described as semi arid desert.

          4. moragnoffke says:

That is so interesting… Parts of South Africa are also semi arid. What latitude are you at?

          5. moragnoffke says:

Oh yeah. I must say that I am quite bad with knowing where the different states are in America. I will look it up on Google maps 😁👍

          6. moragnoffke says:

I just had a look on the map… I have never really looked at that part of America.

😂😂😂😂😂 no! I was trying to do the you know cool surfer hang ten, filthy, rad thing – but yes! Someone has to milk the cows. That’s hilarious. Love it. Born in the 70’s and now have to put my glasses on to read emojis (and everything else) aaaaaasnd tip toe through the mind field of undercurrent meanings that I had no idea about. Good luck with your study into emojis think I’ll stick to words ✌️😜

          2. Benjamin says:

I will predominantly utilize words! By the way, I did understand what you were saying, i just thought it would be funny! Have a beautiful day!

A sense of humour is the biggest tool in the tool box – I don’t know what people lacking one do – probably stare at the chucklers and shake their heads 😀

  4. herbthiel says:

Okay, on the phone if you have g-board, which is a google keyboard app, I always install it as the default, you should have a little smiley face icon. When you press it you get a veritable plethora of emojis. In Windows 10 you can use the on-screen keyboard and insert emojis from there😉Now what they all mean is where emojipedia might be handy.🤔

I love using emojis! I don’t always know what they mean, though, lol! I have a good friend that he and I like to goof off and have what we call “Emoji Wars” where we just keep putting up emojis until one of us gets tired and calls defeat or can’t think of one that will beat the other emoji put up, lol!

Your post sort of makes the importance of emojis clear. But as a writer, I don’t really relate to them and find them annoying at times. 😂
But it is good to know that they can be used as a common language for communication.
