Brothers Campfire Looks Forward

Hello,

Benjamin from Brothers Campfire here!

This week has been unprofitable at my job assignment. Sometimes you have to account for egos when making decisions. I chose not to.

For little reason other than pride, I had roadblocks set up for me that slowed my productivity.

I take it back. I still got paid. I suppose I was profitable all week but my employer did not fare so well.

Ah well. I would like to elaborate, but the long and short of it is that I work for the executive branch of government and it all boils down to politics. If you think the government should make choices for you, I recommend that you work for a county or state entity for a year and then let me know your opinion.

Everything else is going great. My Beloved has an appointment set to get back to driving. She will have to take a very expensive series of tests to achieve this.

Independence has never come cheap. She gets a driver’s license.

Willow Manor thrives. The garden is half planted, and the respiratory illness the birds were passing around mostly went away.

My daughter will be singing in church on Sunday and my son, well… He has plans for the future.

Looking forward is all that we can do! I am glad you made it thru the week and your personal life is going great! Everything costs, medical treatments even more so, but I am glad it is possible as independence for your beloved is important. All the best to you and all who live at Willow Manor and I hope you all have a great weekend!!

I worked in a state university. There is no way I’d want those people making my life choices. The prison system would be worse. Great post.

I worked for the state for years, and I so get the fustration. I am so glad that your wife will be able to drive again. Lovely to see the manor coming together. Spring in Colorado is hard work. Your son looks great for his future day.

Great to hear your Beloved is on her way to independence! Hope you’re up for good times ahead, I haven’t had much time for blogging or reading other blogs lately due to our home renovation, but we’re moving in in June, so I should be back with some new stories soon 😁

    1. Benjamin says:

Hey! That sounds Great! I wish you the best on the renovation! Thank you For Your Encouragement as Well!

I’ll be glad to get back to driving myself! I’m sure your wife will enjoy the freedom again! Congrats! Maintaining the ability to drive is important, of all the things, but I love to travel.

I am okay this moment, but it can change on a dime. Knowing that Heaven is awaiting gives me joy. But I want all my friends and loved ones there, too!

        1. Benjamin says:

We all would like to see our loved ones in Heaven with us. That is for Sure!

My family is well. Thank The Lord! I miss having my babies now that they’re young adults. But this age is wonderful too because they can really understand things. I’m grateful no matter their phases in life! But I do miss holding a baby!

          2. BBYCGN says:

I have a lil grand baby in another state due to careers. He’s sooo cute!

We are expecting a small bit of snow. How is the weather over there?

          1. BBYCGN says:

This is a mighty and creative way to say it! Do you mean the Tribulation? I love how you put that. Never heard it like that before!

          2. Benjamin says:

Ha ha! I was talking about the weather. Sorry for the miscommunication. Yes, we are in the Last Days for sure.
