Short Snips at Brothers Campfire

Hello,

Benjamin from Brothers Campfire here.

Have you ever known someone willing to cut off their nose to spite their face?

These people exist. I experienced this today, but I cannot talk about it much. I will quote a comic book instead.

“A man who whips a dog will pull his own sled one day.”

Kwinn the Eskimo 1983 GI Joe #15 Page 16

Yep, today was frustrating, but tomorrow is a new day.

In much better news, my grapes and raspberries are coming up, my ducklings and goslings have been outside all day, and Trumpet my goose is steadily improving.

Today was the first day to run the sprinkler as well and we are looking forward to seeing green!

It is so is. It is like where is my submissive wife when there is weeding to be done. I remind him that I canned 500 plus jars in the kitchen last year in 120 degree without an exhaust fan.

Lol at the timing… today 2day/weel lawn watering restrictions were made official in SoCal. They start June 1. Should be 1 day for any real benefit. Plus there’s little, if any, penalty.

Glad all’s well at the manor!

Life can hand us a plateful some days! I hope tomorrow will be better. In the meantime take care of your nose …no snipping. 😊
