Cryptameria Joins Brothers Campfire

Hello,

Benjamin from Brothers Campfire here!

Off and on, I have brought up Cryptameria, who played Resources in 2018 when the story of a Bard, Beast, and a Brother began.

She, and two others have followed me from the very beginning, which quite commendable.

Throughout my blogging journey, Cryptameria has been an essential contributor of ideas, but has asked not to have any attention brought her way.

Recently, I learned that she wanted to be a more active part of the Campfire. I am down with that.

Here is some backstory.

Out of respect, I will spare details. We are talking about a real-life person with feelings here.

When I played Resources, I discovered that Cryptameria was dealing with some life-changing events outside of her control.

So, one cold winter night, I was beside a campfire writing stories for ingame cash on Resources.

Meanwhile,

Little known to me, Cryptameria was outside with frightful few real-life resources, wondering where she would spend the night without freezing, being assaulted, or both.

Like I said, these life events were out of her control. Cryptameria was able to scrounge up enough cash to secure lodging for a couple of days while securing new employment and finding a new place to live.

While in this safe place, She found a pad of paper and a pencil. Mind and fingers still numb from people and the elements, Cryptameria sketched a representation of the Beast, the Brother, and the Bard and sent it to me.

In one of the darkest chapters of her life, she created a masterpiece, giving me full rights to it. I will forever be touched by this selfless act.

I so badly desire to say more, but cannot. I will say, she has been introduced to Jesus and is heading in a solid direction.

Thank you Cryptameria. Without you, the story would have been different. We look forward to seeing you here when you so choose to!
