Brothers Campfire Gives A Little Tip About Your Gravatar

Friends!

I have many of them and not enough time to go around some days.

Today is a selfish day and I want to show you something I learned about Gravatars so I can read all of your lovely posts on the WordPress App. I recommend it so I can binge read easier.

Like I said, a selfish act

This is free and will get you a lot more veiws. (By the way, please emotionally support this poor blogger who was recently scammed by a fee based service) Scammed By An SEO Fraudster

Here is my advice.

Please…. Go to https://en.gravatar.com/

And sign in with your WordPress Account.

Having done so, go to the menu and click or tap My Profile.

When you get to your profile, click or tap Websites.

This should come up.

Please Please, with everything in me, add your website.

The correct one. I primarily use my phone and when I look to see who liked my post there are times when I tap a Gravatar it leads to nowhere beneficial.

I take interest in what each and every one of you have to say and I suspect I am not the only one who takes interest in those that leave a like.

Help me help you get more views!

A quote attributed to Reagan. He was a visionary.

Yep! Glad to hear it and glad to visit. The last post I saw was about an Irish potato famine if I am not mistaken.

One I saw that made me laugh out loud was: “One does not simply walk into Mordor” attributed to Maya Angelou 🙂 Apparently, her and the Dalai Lama are the most mis-attributed folk online.

I often click through on the gravatars of people who make awesome comments with an intent to follow them further and then…poof…no website.

    Such a waste.

I get the same thing – it can be annoying when I want to engage with that person and their blog – but find nothing 🙁

Mr. Mills, in my year of Blogging, I recall you giving me advice as I have bumbled along. Thank you.
I believe if you scroll down on your posts, you will see my face there.
Recently, I unfollowed everyone due to numerous reasons. The important one is that I keep those that are near and dear, near and dear. I appreciate the quality of your work and your selfless advice towards mine. Have a wonderful day, friend.

For you, you would have to make one. You are registered on my site only as far as I can tell.

Great advice. I wasn’t sure how that Gravatar thing worked. Like Zoe, I’ve clicked on someone’s Gravatar — and — nothing!

Thank you so much for your kind words encouraging support from others. It was a dreadful experience, but you’ve just restored my faith in human beings 🙂

After more than 10yrs, I have no idea of my gravatar login info! But I remember that I chose the cocktail image at random off the internet and much later learned it was a photo by someone I worked with. Total fluke!

Oh? I don’t understand any of that. I am very reluctant with extra internet things- I have severe distrust with that

            😮😮 I have one anyway? 😮

This is an automagic thing? Whoa that made my picture really big 😮

          3. Benjamin says:

Lol, it is connected to WordPress. I do not know how you found my site, bit I would not have found yours without a Gravatar.

          4. Omatra7 says:

I don’t remember how I stumbled on you? It’s been awhile? You were on my feed? I have never ever found someone with that… only if they on my feed or liked my stuff

This is all new information to me 😳😮

          5. Omatra7 says:

Hahaha no it did not lol… this was informative. I was not aware I had one of those. Thank you for enlightening on this matter.

Not sure how I feel about just instantly having things I did not know about 🤨

I just don’t trust internet things much. They are sneaky

          6. Benjamin says:

I agree on the sneaky. You can unwittingly do a lot online if you are not paying attention.
