Brothers Campfire -A Date With My Beloved

Hello Friends!

This weekend, I had all sorts of nifty things happen. At the moment, I have Sunday, Monday, an Tuesday off if “this weekend” is confusing

First of all, my Beloved and I went on a date. With her running a thriving business and me at the prison, precious and few are the moments we two can share.

After dropping off the kids at school, she packaged her sales and off we went.

My Beloved has been reading a lot about etiquette lately and I may benefit from it as well. She has been listening to classical music and tried an older Ralph Lauren look. This influenced me to dress up a bit and find something to do that was a little classier than McDonald’s as an outing.

We have been married 16 years and we have had the of ups and downs of life beset us. Commitment and forgiveness hold us together. Marriage is a choice, not a feeling.

A date can be anything where you are spending time together. We chose World Market. Window shopping can be quite fun with the right person.

While my Beloved admired the tableware,

The tablefare,

The outerwear,

The written care,

I focused on the importance of justice and the deeper philosophical points of law and order.

This Mask Makes The Man. 8.99 USD was a little too steep to maintain such credential.

Forunately, my Beloved had the sense to see I needed caloric intake and we went to Sprouts. Here are a few photos of this indoor farmer’s market.

.

We purchased a baguette, peppered turkey and smoked cheese and proceeded to have a picnic in the back yard. We could have chosen a park, but we really like where we live.

What do you like to do when you go on a date?

Fun! Lately the hubs and I have been enjoying active, outdoor dates, cycling or hiking. Also a lot of cooking together. We celebrated 20 years of marriage this August.

A couple of my best dates have involved grocery shopping!! Another involved walking around SanFran and discovering we both liked to look at buildings, especially architectural details.

I don’t think I’ve ever been in a Sprouts. I know they are, or were, insanely popular here but I don’t think I’ve ever even seen one on my journeys.

It sounds like you had a wonderful date night. That makes me very happy!

Sounds like a great time! I was married for 21+ years but my husband passed away in 2018. I have a wonderful boyfriend and we enjoy spending the day at local wineries. Marriage does take work but it is worth it.
