Brothers Campfire Wayne Winced-An Ongoing Tale Chapter 102

Evening had come. James the Bastard was abrupt. ” Good work on destroying those ships, Watchman Wayne, but it is time to end the blockade by confronting Admiral Grill. Let’s commandeer a rowboat and take him unaware!”

Watchman Wayne fidgeted. ” It’s a great idea James, but I don’t think I can help.”

James frowned. “Why not? Too much paperwork come report time?”

“No, I can’t swim.”

“You grew up on the harbor and you can’t swim?”

Wayne winced. ” No James, I cannot swim.”

” It takes a man to admit his weakness, Wayne. That is a struggle I have. I respect you for telling me, but it must be done. Admiral Grill will retaliate against the townspeople for losing part of his fleet. We need to confront him first.”

” I wish you well, James. Tell you what. Let me get you connected with the right people and I think you might just pull it off!”
