Brothers Campfire The Lost Sheep-An Ongoing Tale Chapter 104

Northwich, La Longi

The Man with the Shepherd’s Crook returned from his hike to dispose of the pequin and found that one of his sheep was missing.

Quickly, he searched around the perimeter and the town streets.

He passed Hanna and Caydon Berengar, Brother’s children, and Rolf Loudenslager, son of Hugleikr, one of the 16 playing in the town ruins.

Distressed, he continued through the nearby meadow and the surrounding forest to no avail.

He searched the surrounding area for a second time. Caydon and Rolf were climbing a tree and Hannah looked out of the broken doorway.

This time, he asked Hannah, “Have you seen a little sheep wandering through here?”

“Yes Sir!” She proclaimed excitedly. “I am teaching Caydon’s goat and your sheep good manners and proper etiquette!”

Unfortunately, there are no mason jars in
La Longi.

The Man with the Shepherd’s Crook peered inside the dilapidated dwelling. It had not been lived in for a long time.

Seated around a makeshift table were stuffed creatures dressed in formal wear and Caydon’s goat in a knit garment and there stood his sheep, dressed in Rolf’s clothing.

Very beautiful. I looked amazed at the Sheppherd’s staff tonight as my son left his voice as an offering to the reason for this season.

Not sure if you are Christian, but whatever belief is present, I was a proud man to see my sons sing to their hearts content to be part of a bigger flock while at mass.

Merry Christmas and wonderful wishes to you and your family. Thank you for sharing this wonderful post.
