Brothers Campfire The Alchemist Rages -An Ongoing Tale Chapter 177

Hello Friends!

I wanted to show a neat trick I use to keep the Campfire blazing hot. Fire needs heat, fuel, and oxygen to support itself. I get plenty of fuel from neighbors. I think they like my Campfire!

Heat and oxygen are easy enough, but I like to use additional oxygen by fashioning a bellows of sorts with a hair dryer and rain gutter.

My Beloved Would Not Let Me Use Hers.

Large flames make pretty pictures, but coals are king when it comes to cooking! Here are a few examples.

Doesn’t this Marshmallow Look Like A 6 pack and a Chest?

I like to live well and on a shoestring. You can turn the simple hot dog into a masterpiece!

Just load it up with fixings!

As I am focused on Spring’s chores of tending the garden and my family is home, I have slowed down on my fiction a little to reallocate my time. However, I am committed to telling the ongoing story of the real Campfire and the imagined one!

Now, a short story.

The Alchemist, advisor to the king of La Longi was furious.

The Alchemist

His orb, tablet, and his book of faces informed him he had enemies on the other side; Herb Thiel and….The Storyteller.

Having used his book of webs, he could influence other dimensions. In fact, it was he who brought the minions to play in the Battle of La Longi. Would the Storyteller and Herb Thiel be able to interfere?

A Minion

Lord Rainport was an imbecile. They should have been able to take over the Royal Palace with ease. The meddling Bard, Beast, and Brother foiled his plan. It was blind luck that he had not been discovered by the king for his treachery.

The Alchemist would continue his plan to take over La Longi.

Lord Rainport’s son James was falling right into his plans. While James was loyal to the king, James would soon find himself in a dilemma if the king did not speak on his behalf to the Carsiolians.

The official word sent forth was James Rainport had taken Castle Rainport illegally even though he was of the same bloodline as his father.

The Carsiolians would come to take much needed grain by force if the king did not intervene; they would also remove James from Castle Rainport.

The alchemist must be stopped soon.
They say iron cuts iron, diamond cuts iron and sword cuts sword.
Theodore the alchemist might know something to stop him.

The Alchemist is a liar and a cheat and a fraud. There are other, far more powerful books than his book of faces. His downfall may come in that he believes his own lies.

Alchemist is a broad word. This Alchemist is from my ongoing story.
