Good post. I'm similarly against tracking people who have been infected or haven't. People are quick to forget the steps that led to the Holocaust and it will be more important than ever to remember when we'll be faced with another recession soon and people will be looking for scapegoats.
Happy birthday to your daughter! That's a horror story, I'm really glad they both pulled through. Birth is one of the hardest things a woman can go through and it really shouldn't be taken as lightly and as 'it's natural'. It's natural, but women used to die all the time, so we really should consider it the miracle it is.
I hate Black Friday, it became a thing in Slovenia too and people are spending money on stuff they don't need or want. It's literally the opposite of responsible consumerism or sustainable living. I liked the 'buy nothing for Black Friday' initiative I saw going around. Like it's ok if you need something and take the opportunity to buy it at a discount, but people usually don't do that.
