Brothers Campfire at Willow Mano….☠

Hello, Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

This morning I went outside with my Beloved for coffee and a bald eagle flew overhead. I could not get my phone in play fast enough to document it.

Photography isn’t my strong point, but after the missed opportunity, I was in sorrow to tears and determined to bring something to the Campfire.

As the salty wetness expelled from my eye ducts, I noticed the sprinkler was going. I would take a water droplet picture or two.

I was pleased with this one.

And this was among my favorites.

I was able to get a solid stance for my phone and I love the lens the water droplet made.

Today was all camp prep but I got excited about macro photography. I went back out and took a few more.

.

I moved on to preparing chicken for our next adventure when my sister Amber came over. There have been some car troubles over this way and she wanted a stab at it before we take ot to a mechanic.

With the embodiment of an exemplary gearhead, she braced the hood with an ice scraper and pulled the alternator out.

Meanwhile, my Beloved threw me for a loop and aired my laundry for the neighborhood to see.

A little embarrassing at my airing undies, I set out to do some yard work.

I heard the clanging of swords. Watchman Wayne was in trouble.

From a hole in the compost heap came an overwhelming horde of goblins and were looking to overrun the garden!

Standing back to back, we fought the goblin horde, Wayne with his sword, and me with my dandelion fork.

We became separated in the melee and I found myself in trouble. A rouge goblin berserker had knocked me down and was about to land the ending blow.

My life flashed before my eyes and I wondered at the suddenness of death. One minute I was pulling weeds and the next I was fighting for my life. The goblin swung and at the last second, I rolled out of the way, trying to get my footing, but it was no use.

Amber knows things. Now, since you lived long enough to tell this portion of the story, we are waiting with bated breath to know what happens next.

Amber is a cool little sister. I imagine you are on pins and needles or on the edge of your seat. Unfortunately, I have not made it up yet.
