Love Does, Bob Goff ,Brothers Campfire

Live life engaged. Be present, Love.

Hello, Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

A friend of mine recommended that I read Love Does by Bob Goff. I am three-quarters of the way through and I am impressed. It is a great read, written simply.

I enjoy that you can pick any chapter and read it independent of the others.

When I started, my defenses were up. There are a few private areas of my life I have hidden out of necessity and it is cool to see a lawyer come out of his shell in expression.

I recommend this book for someone looking to broaden their horizons in social interaction, being in tune with emotion while exhibiting Godliness.

Bob Goff is a pretty cool dude and I am a fan.

Thanks, friend, for gifting me this book. It means a lot to me.

When I complete it, I am hoping to take a break and write something. I have a few tales I want to spin while trapped at home with this mandated quarantine.

It is hard to do as there is no Campfire. I used the bricks to keep my ducks safe from racoons. It is hard to look down and have it not there.

The ducks will be a year old this month. If I remember correctly, I started with 15 ducklings and one male goose named Armando. I am down to Trumpet my goose and 11 Khaki Campbell ducks. It is a hard knock life out there despite my best intentions.

In particular, I miss Armando the most. He defended the ducks from a dog.

He was a real hero, dying as he lived, a fighter. He died, that my ducks might live.

Without Armando my guard goose, there would have been a lot less birthdays. Happy Birthday Duckys!
