Brothers Campfire Just Tickled -An Ongoing Tale Chapter 36

Good morning. I went scouting with James Rainport yesterday. I like James Rainport. He is rough around the edges and confrontational, but he gets the job done. He is dedicated to his work, but he runs right below the line of insubordination. In this frontier area, he is an excellent fit. There cannot be yes men patrolling  the perimeter. I do not want my ears tickled. I want to know what is going on and how to address it. James is not an ear tickler.

I am going to continue adding responsibility on James Rainport’s workload. He has not complained about it and he has not gone so far as to overstep the chain of command.

He is rugged and independent with tireless energy. He has leadership potential and those that work for him do not dislike him.

One of the areas of concern that I expressed to James Rainport is that his people are going to get tired well before he does with his boundless energy. He will have to recognize that his men aren’t as motivated and will possess their own ambitions.

James Rainport is indeed driven.
