Brothers Campfire Jeptha Journals -An Ongoing Tale Chapter 181

I Am Beast! I eat the flesh of PREDATOR. I hurt. The stab wound pains me so. I killed the bad creatures.

I don’t care that I hurt. Ruetoohto people cared for me. I am on my way. Mountains bring battle and pain, but I stronger for it. I dreamed Shepherd’s Crook Man gave me face back and less hair. I said in dream, I like me. Why change. I asked Shepherd Crook Man to change my inside. He smiled in my dream and said ok. I like the Shepherd Crook man dream.

I am always thirsty. Wound makes me that way. Mean monster stabbed me with spear and insides hurt.

I go to La Longi and tell them I forgive. I think it is right that I do. Brother does not need to tell me that. Shepherd Crook Man Tells me to in my dream. I go and do it. People need me to forgive them. I need to be forgived too. I am scary Beast. I am fearsome.

It is Night! I run, but I am happy Beast.

Jeptha Berengar is a little off putting. He was bitten by a creature as a child and hasn’t bee quite right since. It seems his heart is in the right place most of the time.

Jeptha Berengar is not a very socially acceptable individual to be sure. I think his heart is in the right place, however. We will have to see how the story progresses. Thank you for the feedback, Petra. Did you know that if you speak to one of the characters in the story, there is a chance they will respond?

It would be amusing to see the interaction between a redheaded cheese thief that frequents the Puking Peasant and the Erratic Engineeress!

I am not trying to embarrass. Sir is appropriate, sire is what you call royalty. I call you sir as a sign of mutual respect, not from an elevated position. I bet it is the difference in how we use the English language. 🤠🔥

          2. Ishaan Sharma says:

Haha. I was just joking. I called you sire because you are the king of the campfire.

          3. Benjamin says:

I see! Emerson Berengar and I both have Campfires, but he is a story character. In the US, we consider all men are created equal.

          4. Ishaan Sharma says:

Not sure if it was his words, but this idea is said to be propounded in his book ‘two treatises of the government’.

          5. Benjamin says:

Are we talking about men created equal? Then yes. It is a quote I work to live by.

          6. Ishaan Sharma says:

” The wise men sees himself in all beings and all beings in himself. What hatred can be there to that seer?”

          1. Ishaan Sharma says:

It has been usual so far. I read some bible. I am 3 days ahead in the plan you added in.

          2. Benjamin says:

A heathen could be defined as someone who does not fear God in his heart in some way.

          3. Benjamin says:

I imagine that you love your parents and when you were young you needed some direction. True?

          4. Benjamin says:

I cannot speak for others. I define it as someone who does not acknowledge God in thier thoughts and actions. I may think of someone who embraces and encourages immoral behavior as a heathen.
            This is my way of deciding;
If someone is not offended by it and in fact embraces the word, they probably are a heathen.

I have come to know many Hindu that devoutly embrace God with the knowledge that they have of him. I say this from my perspective without the desire to offend.

          5. Ishaan Sharma says:

I don’t think any Hindu embraces being called a heathen.

The hindu equivalent of the word heathen would then be naastik. Meaning faithless.

          6. Benjamin says:

I am not sure, but Denver, Colorado has a large population of people from India.

          7. Herb says:

I think the term feard God is more along the lines of respect God.

    1. Benjamin says:

I agree. I wasn’t sure if Jeptha would pull through due to Shepherd’s Crook Man being in another land with his sheep.

I appreciate it. He is hard to write some days. Did you know that if you speak to the Beast in the comments, he may respond?

Jeptha Berengar is awoken from sleep. It is day. “Did you follow me from Ruetoohto village? I walk to La Longi. That is true.”

“BE SAFE LITTLE MAN. I AM BEAST”

Jeptha the Beast has a big heart. I bet he enjoyed hanging out with you.
