Jason Devon Ghosted Me Capitalism Gutter 1/28/2021 Brothers Campfire

Hello, Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

I would like to assist others in avoiding scams. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Yesterday, I had to assist my niece when a scammer tried to take 300.00 US dollars from her. Ooh… Was I angry. I got it straightened out.

But forget about that. Let me tell you how I almost made a LOT of money today.

I like things laid out plain and simple. His response was a little scripted, but oh well.

I was off to a good start. It seemed my financial burdens were to be leveraged with the sale of my home and cashing in my retirement. Doing so would result in me being a millionaire and I was ready present the case to my Beloved.

He left a link and I responded.

I was ready, credit card in hand to get started.

Then this happened. LinkedIn got in the way and called it potentially harmful.

I looked at the man’s profile. He seemed legit. Four thousand and eleven followers could not be wrong.

Then this happened.

I had been blocked! All of my dreams of making a cool million by selling everything had been dashed. I tried to make it work and asked a gut wrenching question but to no avail.

What a downer. I could not even ask. This was the gutter of capitalism. Why did he block me? Did he look at my Linked In posts and see how I seek these interactions? Perhaps he knew my niece. Whatever…

I hate being blocked.

Now I am not calling Jason Devon a scammer, and I will leave a link here for him to be connected with in good faith. https://www.linkedin.com/in/jason-devon-7522a01aa

For some reason, the link does not work for my account.

If LinkedIn knows this could be trouble why do they let him maintain a presence?
    Your niece or your cousin?

The FBI arrested a crook in Montana who posed as an account and lawyer (we was neither) who bilked a family our of 700K. He is in jail now, the money gone.

When I worked at police department that was always a huge issue. People being scammed.

Do not give people your personal information until you have all the information and have checked their claims.

Also… all my elderly people are very trusting – they are HUGE targets. I am constantly lecturing them with it so they stay smart and aware.

    Stay safe and alert 😘✌️❤️

Scammers can be really hard… a lot of times these scammers are not even in the United States and if someone falls for the scam… there is nothing you can do to get your money back if the scammer is outside United States.

I have watched countless elderly be scammed when I was with police … one guy got scammed out of $25,000 before he decided to come down to the police department.

If it stinks – and your gut tells you something isn’t right – right away you say something!

The little grumpy old Man I take care of… one day he let some man into his house… he called me at work to tell me about it! (Was before covid)

He said some man from the city came to his house and will be back tomorrow because he was gonna sign up for something.

I said ok … what’s his name and his city ID?? Did you get his credentials? Because if he’s with the city he will have city identification and that will be verifiable.

So I had to lecture about not letting people into your house – he does not understand that one 🤨

And then I told him – you give him nothing and you sign nothing without getting his info and giving it to me – I will check him out and handle it.

And the guy came back and did not have any of the credentials I told him to ask for. And that was done without any scam done

But my grumpy old man is so trusting of people!! And that’s partly why he hates people … because he is so trusting and then some people take advantage of that.

You must be aware at all times – scammers use the internet, phone and also in person. They are coming up with new ways to scam all the time.

The IRS will never call you and say the police will arrest you because you owe money… the IRS doesn’t work like that – that is a scam. The IRS does not make those phone calls.

So just be aware always – it is very hard.

        Stay safe ✌️

Thank you for sharing your story, Trish. There is so much of this going on right now and it is disgusting. Every reasonable opportunity I get I expose these people. The last Linkedin one brought the scammer to my site and I had the distinct pleasure of embarrassing her again. She had a lot of followers to look legitimate and I put a small dent in her scam that she felt.

          Good to hear from you!

Good for you ❤️ many of the elderly I know … they are not very computer literate – they manage but are not great… and it makes them easier targets and then add in their trusting nature (they are from a different time period)

So … thank you for cleaning up the spiders in the dark corners of the web 😘❤️✌️

Good to hear from you too 🥰❤️✌️

Still surviving – knock on wood lol ✌️ life tries to shake me but whatever … sometimes it does for a minute

Been crazy. 🤨 I only make that face because I have a thing with liking peace – and there is not that currently – it’s all crazy nuts

It is just my current moments 😕 because life has to happen 🤨

So whatever – that is why I make the face lol

Is good to hear from you too. I hope you and your family are happy, healthy and well ❤️✌️
