Brothers Campfire Hiking! Ride In My Shirt Pocket!

Hello Friends!

I am currently hiking from Pueblo Colorado to Colorado Springs! Let’s see how far I can get! Message me in the comments and I will give you my coordinates on Google Maps!

Colorado and Alaska running legend Shawn Erchinger caught wind of my distance attempt and dropped by with some cool items to take with me on the way!  It is always cool when a local celebrity steps down to help us little fellas!

I have to keep that pace all day, πŸ˜†. I am taking a lengthy break and eating an apple right now. There are coyotes 100 yards off yapping. Pretty cool!

          1. rue202 says:

Coyotes! Awesome! They’re not going to become a danger, are they?

      1. Beck says:

Woo Hoo!!!! That is amazing! You are getting so close! πŸ‘πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜„πŸ‘ŸπŸ‘Ÿ. I am so glad you are feeling good. You are most welcome…thanks for including us in this adventure!

It appears you have done 27.8 miles to the point you last sent. Where is the end goal? You’re almost in Fountain city limits.

  7. Beverly says:

You are in the last stretch, nephew…amazing! Keep pushing, nephew!!! You got this! Praise the Lord!

      1. Beverly says:

You’re welcome! Wow!!!! You are so close….what an incredible accomplishment!!!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜„πŸ‘ŸπŸ‘Ÿ

By my figuring you should be pretty close to the target. Er, Walmart. Please let us know when you hit the end of your journey.

    1. The Storyteller says:

Will do. I believe my body is primarily burning fat. I do not function well that way. I am going to use All Trails calculation of 35. It accounts for a lot of things with distance.

      1. herbthiel says:

Well, when I did walking directions on Google Maps it came out to 35.2 miles. To the middle of the store, lol.

  9. Beverly says:

Dairy Queen is a hop, skip and a jump from Walmart so that is/was close enough. You did it!!! Huge congrats!!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ₯³πŸ₯³. Hopefully, you are resting now.

  10. Beverly says:

    Okay….you got this. Almost there…πŸ™ŒπŸ™πŸ½

      1. Beverly says:

Yay, nephew!!!! You did it! We are so happy for you! πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ˜πŸ™ŒπŸ˜ Phil 4:13. Rest up…

          1. Beverly says:

I can imagine. Epsom salt will help over the next few days.

          2. Beverly says:

            That’s great! You’re welcome!

cool! I’ve wanted to hike the Appalachian Trail all the way through for a couple of years…tales a lot more prep though.

          2. hcmorris77 says:

I might try and do it, not sure, but before I get too old to be able to. Maybe I can set the goal for 45…two years. Don’t know if I could do the whole thing though as it takes a couple of months.

          3. The Storyteller says:

Way nifty! The longest wilderness hike for me was Four Pass Loop. We were unable to complete it due to the numerous avalanches from the prior winter and the excessive snow buildup.
Still, we hiked the area for four days living out of our bear can!

I an excited for your plans. I hope in everything that you follow through and do it. That would be the best!

          4. hcmorris77 says:

If I do, gotta start working on it now as I am not getting any younger!
