Brothers Campfire Hindsight, Well, Wow

Hello, Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

Never fully dressed without a face mask.

I was looking back at some of my old posts and I had a good chuckle, notably a couple from January, 2019.

Check this out. In my post Happy New Year!

I spoke about how chaotic 2019 was and even had a painting to represent it. Ha ha! Little did I know what was coming in 2020! Boy, was I a lightweight!

To start off the year, I was hit with a grave and unusual sickness that really knocked me down. One of my posts about it was called,

Thank You Friends!

It is a quick and interesting read considering COVID was still in Wuhan, China. I had some notable symptoms, and that was the sickest I have been in a long while. I wonder If I had contracted it.

The current tests I am taking say I did not, but wow, coincidental!

I know it is early for a New Year post, but I wonder what is coming looking forward. 2020 has been a crazy one.

Well, that’s all for now. I hope you all have a blessed and beautiful day!

fyi: the 1st link is wonky. Does nothing on the app; reroutes to a page of search engine best guesses in web view.

Glad you’re better now. How weird about the Jan illness not being covid!!

It’s not you, something’s buggy again! WP is probably doing an update in the background.

I left a bad review on the WP Android app. Not being able to post comments is my pet peeve with WP.

I just had that happen again. Can reply to some but not others with no obv pattern

It is frazzling. I want to say meaningful things and cannot. 🤠🔥

Today I’ve noticed that even though my comments seem not to post, they actually have.

The app is good about saving unpublished comments so it’s safe to go back and see if your comment appears.

Meh. Mostly spent in my heated bed, trying to reconcile misc annoyances. It’s slightly before 8:30pm and I’m planning to go to sleep soon.

Thanks. That’s pretty much all I do these days!! I had a month or 2 of energy but I’ve crashed again… just want to sleep 24/7!

My doctor is pretty sure I had misdiagnosed Covid19 in April…no fever, no breathing problems. I had loss of taste and the gastrointestinal form of the disease followed by diverticulitis, kidney infection, and ovarian cysts. It took me 6 months to fully recover, and I still worry about possible heart and kidney damage. The problem is, the antibodies typically are gone from the body in about 3 months, so it can’t be confirmed with a blood test.

Hmm… Indeed. I wonder if I got the China Virus. I have been told it goes out of your system after a while.

Ha! We all had no clue what we are in for during the New year’s celebrations. I hope you get well soon, my friend! And someone can pull off a suit rather nicely

Winters have started. Will experience long and freezing winters this time. How is the weather at your end?

          2. Benjamin says:

It is brisk, but we get the most severe parts of winter in January and February.

          3. Kritika says:

Yes. January would be fierce this year but it will be beautiful. 🙂

As long as we get lots of moisture, I am down! Living in semi arid makes us crave the wet stuff.

          5. Kritika says:

But that moist chilly air will be tearing for us. Happy Winters Friend 🙂

I think they found out Covid was around in Europe and the US much earlier than originally thought, so it’s possible I guess.
