Brothers Campfire Epic Breakfast, Pepper Test, Bill Inquest, Art Fest

Healthy, Picture Perfect, the Texture… Amazing.

For Breakfast, I had last night’s leftovers with a few duck eggs loaded with salt and spices. Nothing. No taste. It is all about texture for a while I suppose.

I have done some silly things to see the extent of my loss of taste and smell. Pepper opens up my airway a little, but no other reaction.

This was unnecessary, and so was this.

Upon drinking pepperoncini juice, there was no reaction other than the burn going down.

I feel a lot better doing things like this to break the monotony of lockdown during this illness. The nights are the worst and I am always cold.

Some members of my family have taken more creative venues such as drawing to pass the time. I was impressed by this one.

And this one….

And…. This one

Perhaps I should take up a creative pursuit sometime.

I should try my hand at telling a story or something…..

Since we cannot smell or taste, my Beloved took to looking at spices and dreaming about the possibilities.

With spices, we realized if we lay them down in a drawer, there is no need to dig through them to find the right one. The labels are available to see.

One label we had a hard time reading was from BC Services, a collection agency. They wanted all kinds of information for me to pay a measly 20.14 bill.

They were very rude despite me having an account number and debit card at the ready.

What a dumb looking brand. BC stands for Brother’s Campfire and British Columbia. They should have asked me and I could have helped them with a logo. Maybe BC means bill collector to them.

Anyway, moving forward.

I called my work and let them know where I am in my quarantine. The State and County are heavily involved in my case as I am a State employee. I have to jump a lot of hoops to get back to work when my condition improves. I don’t want to give the gift of covid to anyone who does not want it and they do not want the liability either.

Well, off to the mundane of quarantine!

I wish you all get better, in the meantime it is interesting to know the symptoms, like drawing frenzy.

            Oh, dear.
I take white vinagar shots with the inmates on occasion. About 1 in 5 can handle a swish in the mouth and a big gulp. We do about 2 oz. It Burns.

One day I should do a post about my antics about the prison population.

Hmm…You could tell a story, sometime…We still have the defeat of Gryll to see happen. And is his ability to train dragons his own or is there the sinister hand of the Alchemist involved? Will the young Ashton learn to accept himself and his talents? Will there be cheese?

Ha ha! We will see! I have a chapter mostly done, but I do not have enough clarity at the moment to continue.

That sounds a lot more exciting and adventurous than what we are doing during our quarantine. Mostly because it involves some backup school work and backup work and sitting around driving each other nuts. It’s great! (Sarcasm implied) lol

That was really funny Uncle Ben this is Gia.

Nothing really helps with loss of taste. My boyfriend and I got take out during out covid stint and amused ourselves by trying to figure out exactly what kind of sauce we were eating with the burgers, but there was no way to know 🤣
