Brothers Campfire Christmas …Kinda

Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

Yesterday, the Thirteen Year Veteran of Life made some Cinnamon rolls for Christmas and they were absolutely delicious!

The Man Can Bake!

We both struggle with following directions from cookbooks, but he took his time and did it right.

Savannah was no slouch either and made a breakfast crunch wrap on an iron skillet. She can make a picturesque one on a panini grill, but she challenges herself. The interior was an delicate blend of duck eggs and cheeses cooked to excellence.

We spent a good part of the day visiting relatives when I got a call. There was a duck in a parking lot. They wanted to know if I could rehome it.

I hopped in the car with Savannah and away we went. There was no catching this guy and he flew away very high for a domesticated duck. I would imagine he flew half as high as this parking garage.

We resumed our get-together and went to bed. It may be noted that there were no visions of sugar plums dancing.

The morning was all business… And cinnamon rolls. We are debating on waiting to celebrate Christmas in a few days.

My Beloved is sleeping right now, and I am jamming to a few Christmas tunes as I hang out with her. As I write, this is the current song playing.

Merry Christmas Baby

Well, that is all at the moment. Have a blessed day!

Merry Christmas, Ben. 🎄🌟🕊 It sounds like Isabel is getting better and better everyday and that’s a blessing. And the kids are very independent and self- reliant, you’ve taught them well. 😊

BTW, I want to apologize for misspelling Isabel’s name all this time and doing it with two L’s instead of one.

    Have a wonderful Christmas weekend.

I am proud of my children, but I am aware they are masking hurt. I want my Beloved home and so do they.

No apology necessary Cherry Wit, although I never make misspellings of names. 🤠🔥❄🎊✨🎁🎇🎇🎄

😆.. I look forward to a new year of all your amazing posts!

My heart hurts for you and for this children, Ben. I can only imagine the pain of not having Mom home for Christmas. It hurts not having her on a normal day but Christmas makes it hurt so much more.

And I love the Cherry Wit line! 😁😁😁😁

I’ll be praying for Isabel’s homecoming and for your family to be together again. ❤

That is really neat! So, while I am not a vegetarian, I do have some vegetarian dishes I enjoy! One of those is oatmeal, black beans and sweet potatoes baked with chilli spices.
