Brothers Campfire Works a Winch (Zipline Install)

Hello, Benjamin from Brothers Campfire here!

Yesterday, I installed a zipline.

It was a different location than planned which made it 200 feet long with a fairly significant slope.

Having only installed several small ziplines out of spare parts, I had a learning curve along the way, but used some of my experience as a crane rigger to figure out things like moving a heavy cable where it needed to go.

(We picked up a cable winch to finish the job.)

Upon installation , we sent a hundred-pound punching bag down to ensure it was safe.

We discovered there were a few obstacles and that the bungee stop was too close to the end of the route.

The fourteen-year veteran of life was done with hypotheticals. He harnessed up, and after a warning about a potential hard stop at the end, down he went.

We winched her tighter and cleared more area to ensure more safety. The bungee stop was moved much further than the hard stop.

All said, we had a great experience on the install. I will be back as needed, but for the most part, it is good to go!

Please help polish our dreams to the world so we can make it a better place by caring and showing love to the motherless kids homeless and have no one to care for them or their education . Organizing this website is to help make some income for the orphanage home kids life keep . The Ute community orphanage home foundation is crying out to the world for help and assistance so they can live a better life and also to know that the world care about their living just like if they had parent’s .

So cool! You did a great job. Looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun for that fourteen year experienced of life. I presume this is the escape zip line from a secret lair.

I am confident your Zip Line is very safe but I am a conscientious objector to zip lining, bungee jumping, and leaping out of functioning airplanes even with a parachute.

Conscientiousness is a lot of syllables! Yeah Geoff, there are a few things I will try once, then I do not want to test my luck and do again. I get it.
