Brothers Campfire Zoqem’s Feast-An Ongoing Tale Chapter 122

Zoqem was a loner. There was room to be free and do what he pleased that way. In his youth, he was more social. He quickly learned from the many poor choices of his siblings that pro social behavior was sometimes abhorrent.

Oh, so much infighting.

As soon as he was old enough, he set out on his own to plot his own course.

During his travels, a shiny object had befallen him that brought self awareness and vanity. He was such a handsome specimen.

It was a prized possession.

The Shiny Object

Other than looking at his image, eating was his favorite pastime. A connoisseur of seafood, Zoqem had an acquired taste for the exotic as well.

Zoqem Really Liked Seafood

Today would be a day of feasting.

Today’s exquisite fare was hard on the outside, but tasty morsels could be had if you shook it side to side.

Strangely, if you selected the last one, the others would circle and offer themselves to be eaten. Strange creatures. They were not like the other mollusks who would retreat in their shell. They willingly offered themselves.

Zoqem selected a delectable and gently shook the shell. It was time to feast.

Hello Eastern Trekker! Welcome to The ongoing tale! My posts are mostly short stories that link together. In this case, I am setting a stage for a character to be introduced. This post is vague because it is a setup for my next one. I believe it will be crystal clear who Zoqem is very soon!

      In short,
The 3 primary characters are Bard, Beast, and Brother.

I interrupt my story with life updates from time to time so it can be confusing.

If you have tha time, you can start from the beginning. It is the equivalent of a very short novel so far.

My name is Benjamin by the way. Nice to meet you!
