Brothers Campfire on Trunks, Blusters, Party Fouls and Introverted Sheepdogs

Hello, Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

As I sit here on the trunk of my car, I see the value of just being there. Well, sorta….

My children are playing volleyball and so are a large portion of my friend’s children.

It is the teenage time of life for them and late outings are somewhat commonplace in the warm weather.

I will say It is great timing to have gotten a new job assignment with a daytme schedule.

Immediately on my arrival, I see there are gang bangers sitting on my friend’s car and I am pretty sure my friend does not want confrontation with them.

I don’t either so I sit on my car trunk. They eye me because I am an unknown. I get a text letting me know of the concern. I am already on it.

Will I confront them so they can jump me? No, I will let them fidget. I am not going to get caught in the battle of their choosing.

Tension builds on their end and I let it cook. They know they are doing something they shouldn’t be.

I play on my phone. The flash goes off on my camera and the uncomfortable they were trying hide becomes apparent.

Silence is king on my end. A majority of people cannot endure it.

Blue jacket blusters,

“(Derogatory Statement) get a cap busted in his ***”

They stare at me for a while and I ignore them.

I blog, and I sip my Monster. They get in their cars and leave. His utterance was insecure and he needed to save face with his buddies. I get it. He needed a rationale to get off of my friend’s car that looked natural.

Time has passed, and here I sit, contemplating.

I kinda feel like a party pooper. I show up, take one picture, and everyone in the parking lot leaves.

Is this my lot in life? Am I a watchful sheepdog with a goofy disposition? I am beginning to think so.

Lol to be fair, I have no way of knowing.

The area, the coloration of clothing on others outside of the picture, the verbiage, and life experiences gave me a strong indication that these folks were grouped in an organization that does not interact well with pro social behavior.

However, I did not interview them or ask directly, “are you participating in gang activity?”

So in conclusion, no, I do not know if they were “gang banging.”

      Hope this helps clarify!🤠🔥

Glad it went ok. Also, just FYI, gang bangers has more than one meaning, I was kind of expecting this to get R rated for a second

She is right on the variable definitions. I feel I used the word appropriately for the setting.

        Yeah – I know

But life teaches you the way. Just be confident with who you are and make choices that you are ok with.

I always think – they aren’t totally gone, because they influenced the person that you became … it shapes you… so they continue on?

And you always are blessed with the moments you did have… obviously you had amazing moments

Life is that – make amazing moments ❤️ …one life (maybe lol) – make amazing 🙌❤️

You are strong like me … only I am girly and not at all scary – although sometimes I like to think I am scary …but I am not at all lol

It be ok. It just changes – but you always have them ❤️

Life is something we have to accept and that includes death. It’s really hard to accept that or absorb.

None of us can stay alive forever yet… and would you want that? 😮

That’s why so important to have a happy life if you able ❤️ take in all the moments of whatever your happiness is

And if in regards to work life – it’s ok … still new … takes a minute to be totally comfortable – but you will

Life is transitions – so make best of what you have – cherish the things you love – and believe in yourself – be happy!!!

Think of it this way – as you raise your children … you hope that your influence, morals and love will have impact on the person they become. You try to teach them the things you know. You will impact their lives

And ya know “to every season turn turn turn”

Your influence continues on with the lives that you touch ❤️✌️

Trust your gut. Put in thought but also trust your gut ✌️
