The Lady of Willow Manor Returns

Hello, Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

Well, the Lady of Willow Manor is back home with a lot of restrictions. We are learning as we go about how our training at therapy will translate into what we have at home to work with.

For example, getting into a regular car requires an adjustment over the training car. Our vehicle was much lower and does not have slippery seats.

I have been asked why I am blurring my Beloved’s face. She was on a special assignment requiring anonymity. Duh.

Getting up the stairs, into a chair, and into bed was a challenge as well. These are tough tasks for someone who can only use the right half of their body.

We will improve as we learn a new normal. She is steadily improving as well.

Her return was festive. We kept the Christmas tree up, opened a few gifts, and ate pizza .

I am exhausted. Goodnight.

Best wishes as you all adapt to the new normal. I’m glad to hear that your wife’s health is improving. Hopefully, what is “normal” today will soon be much better! I’m glad you had a mini-Christmas celebration at home.

I’m glad to hear your beloved is back home. The going won’t be easy, but I have a feeling that with time, she will be back to her old self.

Very good news! I will say, as she does more, her strength will improve…and she’ll be tired. And so will you and everyone else. There will be good days and not so good days, and that is normal.

So happy to hear your wife is back home again. Even though you need to have that new normal for a time, I’m sure you will be more relaxed being in your own home again. I can totally relate to that new normal, it gets easier as you go. I keep you all in my prayers Benjamin! God bless you much!😀😺

I am so happy for you all. Reaching the “new normal” is going to be exhausting for you two especially — and I hope she is a laugh-er as well as a pray-er — but, well.. here you GO! (Godspeed, times two!)

Hey, you there, Under the Mask, I think she is a laugher, and a prayer. She is also a hard charger.

Thanks friend, I wish you a wonderful year! 🤠🔥

For sure! She will probably get more care here with YT instructions than her appointments.

Me as well! With the basics we learned, I think she will get a lot of therapy at home. She is scheduled next week for more assessments and therapy.
