Sandhya Rajan Visits Brothers Campfire

Hello, Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here! Gather ‘Round and I will spin you a tale….

Every once in a while, I do a post about scams that I call the gutter of capitalism or in other words, Capitalism Gutter. I got the name from Petra, the Erratic Engineeress. Her blog is way cool, so check it out.

For clarity, I am all about free trade and capitalism. I just hate scams.

The other day, I was reading posts on Linkedin and read about a user posing as Content Square, an analytics company. According numerous individuals, they had created content and were not paid.

A number of freelancers in India had been swindled by this account and were banding together to prevent more abuse.

Sandhya Rajan, a connection of mine, was leading the charge and she exposed them with screenshots of the behavior.

They were nasty mean to Sandhya Rajan to include physical threats, and I read further, intrigued. This married mother of India was having none of it and would not be intimidated, online or otherwise, reminiscent of a Northwich Warrior.

I reached out and asked about prices. (Great timing, Benjamin. 🙄) There was significant wariness as she had just been scammed and would not be freelancing freely for anyone.

After convincing Sandhya Rajan I was serious, I asked for workbook examples and she provided me a number of them.

I ran each one through two plagiarism checkers and they were originals.

After speaking with the crew at Brother’s Campfire, We offered to pay Sandhya Rajan upfront, but there was concern on our end of being scammed as well.

Umm… Yeah.

I had not sent money overseas before and I have always been told it is a bad idea, so I researched the best route to ensure safety in the transaction, opting for Transfer Wise or Wise as it is now called. https://transferwise.com/us. This site will tell you what a better option is if they do not have the best rate. I liked the upfront transaction fees as well.

Against the advisement of the Campfire Budget Office, I sent the full amount at once and Sandhya Rajan was ready for work. Not wanting our good name tarnished, I held off until she sent a screenshot that she received the cash.

Not usually a good idea to pay all upfront

Honestly, I expected to lose my investment when Sandhya Rajan informed me she had two writing projects ahead of mine, but it was not the case.

During our business hours, which are exactly opposite of the United States, she gave me progress updates, meaning she rose out of bed to keep me updated. That is commitment to a customer!

The document was ready before the agreed upon time, was well-formatted and researched, and Sandhya Rajan even threw in a chart for free.

The only editing required on my part were the nuances of English as spoken in India and ‘Merican spoke here in Colorado.

Sandhya Rajan, you made my day. You stood up against wrongdoing in the face of threats, inspiring others to do the same. You excel in your tradecraft and I look forward to posting your work and using your research on my website.

You are a fine addition to the Campfire, and I hope to work with you again in the future.

P.S. If you need any content creation or research, I recommend Sandhya Rajan.

P.P.S. If you decide to work with Sandhya Rajan, please do not tell her she was worth double what I paid.

P.P.P.S. To the inappropriately named Dumbest Blogger, I hired a writer prior to you hiring a stenographer. https://wp.me/p4emz5-1ic

Ha ha! I paid someone to write something. I am not sure if it was an accomplishment or not, but I met a lot of cool people along the way!

Haha! That is what I thought when I saw all of these content creators and copyrighters on Linked In. I did it for fun.

“content creator” “copywriter” “Linked in”, I should learn that kind of language.😳 All I took in school was English and French.😂😹
