Brothers Campfire Shepherd’s Crook Man -An Ongoing Tale Chapter 31

Good morning!

Yesterday, I went to the stone building that the Man with the Shepherd’s Crook is working on.

The Man with the Shepherd’s Crook talked about animals being pretty much face value in their actions. He stated that you only know people from the presentation they give and what they reveal about themselves. He stated that some murderers hide behind a smile.

He stated that people become good at one thing at a time like smithing or carpentry.

He says people make many gods for a specific purpose. And example would be people worshipping the sun and the moon. Because we are often really good at one thing like a trade,we are unable to see there is one God who is the power behind the sun and moon and everything.

The Man with the Shepherd’s Crook said God is a judge and God is also merciful. He can fill both roles. He stated that God loves when people change their ways for good in what he calls repentance more than he hates wrongdoing.

He said we do not need multiple gods to pray to but one.

The Man with the Shepherd’s Crook also said that God reveals Himself in a book. He also says, like people, you have to get to know God for him to reveal who He is. Knowing him to be the judge is good and knowing we can find mercy is good.

I will have to see if he will let me read this book.

In my opinion, there is a lot of spiritual knowledge and also a lot of practical everyday living in what this man has said.

I went and had lunch and returned to listen to a friend of the man with the Shepherd’s Crook.

He was very ordered in his speaking and made four points. He spoke of spiritual matters.

  1. Victories are meant to produce more victories and evil spirits want to take this from us.
  2. When you deal with evil spirits you cannot counsel a spirit to do good.
  3. The evil spirits want to control our minds and make us hurt ourselves (like drinking alcohol and even feeling vengeful and bitter) He stated that bitterness is a way to hurt yourself.
  4. He stated the one powerful God needs to be worshiped and even thousands of evil spirits cannot hold someone back from doing so.

I sit here at the Campfire excited about the things I heard. I have not considered the spiritual things in such a way before. It is always nice to learn something new.
