Planting Seeds and God’s Timing.

Hello, Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

The other day, I took my Beloved to Walmart for seeds. While we parked in a handicapped spot, she did not use a cane or motorized wheelchair, but a shopping cart to get around. This means she has enough balance in her core and grip strength in her left hand to make this happen.

She has been going to all the therapy the insurance allows for including acupuncture and vision specialists.

Did you know that in some cases of stroke, they measure people’s pupils? Say that 5 times fast.

Co-Pays add up and I have bee working overtime to afford them. 40 dollars an appointment adds up, especially when there are up to three a day.

Work has been a challenge. Right now, I am on a project that made the news.

More importantly, It has been a long hard road to get a quality Bibles study into the prison. Last Saturday marked the start of the Search For Truth program hosted by Heritage Pentecostal Church. 18 signed up for this life-changing event.

Unbeknownst to me, the implementation of the Bible study at my prison was a portion my adult life’s work.

I had no idea until it happened.

You see, for over a decade of interviews, I was unable to get another job outside of this prison. I prayed, fasted, and cried for another job to God the whole time and I thought He was not listening.

He was listening, and gave me a job coordinating volunteers. Now there is a Church in my prison that has the truth.

Was it easy? No. Was it worth it?

Absolutely!

The walls of a prison were not so strong as to blot out the light of the Holy Ghost. It was God’s timing.

Praise the Lord! Praying for inmates and prisons employees hearts to be open to respond to God’s truth and calling. And praying they will have a personal encounter with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I cannot wait to hear the testimony of their life be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
