Brothers Campfire Papers, Keys, Passwords, Cranes and Eagles. Epic

Epic Breakfast. Three duck eggs with Tabasco sauce and pepper jack cheese began the day in delicious wonderment.

Amazing to was. Well, after getting everyone ready for online school, we set off to retrieve paperwork from the downtown courthouse. The parking meters were up and running today.

The El Paso County Courthouse was not as reliable. While looking online, the part we needed was open, but the officers in the front denied us entry. We filled out a form and must wait until I get this document to refinance which frustrates me to no end.

I was able to get a picture of this eagle sculpture with a crane in the background as a bonus. Us country bumkins get excited about the silliest things.

When we returned to the car, a note was placed on it. We had lost a car key and an office around the corner had it.

She was not inclined to give it to anyone and she demanded to know our full names. My Beloved gave hers and she shook her head in disapproval.

They were her keys and I gave the lady one of these looks.

She looked back with cool, level eyes. She was not one to trifle with. “What is your name?” she asked.

I replied, “Benjamin Thiel.”

Smiling, she handed the keys to my wife. “I saw your Bible in the car and just knew who the keys belonged to!”

We thanked them and went to our car. Sure enough, there was Bible on the seat.

I was quite thankful for getting our key back and that she was not going to give it to just anyone.

God opens doors that no man can shut! I pray the seed planted with her seeing the Bible in your car grows in a mighty way. 🙏 We may never know how timely it was for her to see the Bible, but God knows. Way to be vessels, nephew and niece!

Wow… what if you’d been carrying the bible of a friend or family member with a different name?!?

Sorry you couldn’t get where you needed to go!
