Brothers Campfire Melancholy, Shopping, and Uncovered Omnivores.

The morning began with post-adventure melancholy, typical of adrenaline junkies such as myself.

My Beloved is intuitive and kicked me and the Twelve Year Veteran out of the house post haste, but not in a mean way or anything.

We went off to Big R per her recommendation and purchased magazines.

We considered going to Target, thought better and picked up a metal replica instead. For good times sake of course. I love Target so much I am leaving a back link.

Thumbing through all the magazine’s, we understood that freedom of expression is important for society and decided to express ourselves in another amendment; we found stock photos of bears and imagined having bear arms .

We had a blast and went round after round shelling out bear arm jokes. We even got weird and discussed bear arms with fringes.

Bear Arms with fringes seemed impractical as did the discussion, and I went to my chamber to reset and find a higher caliber of intellectual discourse. We did not want to reset anyones triggers after all.

By the way, random thought…a teeter totter is lever action.

It was time for breakfast and we had an amazing duck egg burrito complete with herbs and vegetables from our garden.

Can you believe someone recently wasted tortillas at a game event? Who does that? Apparently basketball coaches. You can read about it here.

It is hard to tell what really happened, but I am not one to waste food if I can help it. My breakfast burrito was on point and all I have to say is; Don’t Waste Tortillas.

Well, that is all for now. The day was full and the post runs long .

If you know anything about the basketball coach incident, I would love to hear your take on it.

I read a bit on the burrito incident. The article said it was a couple students in the stands who threw the tortillas so I was extra confused about the coach being fired. And while I realize tortillas could be “culturally insensitive” in this era, firing a person does not seem appropriate. I’m hoping there’s a lot of info that I don’t know.

Bear arms made me think of this (note that I linked to Target):

I dunno Leendadll, if they were throwing tortilla in a racially motivated way, firing seems entirely appropritate..just like any other foodstuff linked with a particular culture being thrown would be firing worthy..racism hurts people.

Funny, I never thought of the right to bear arms this way. I always assumed it meant being able to wear a short sleeved shirt. Ha Ha. And, who wastes a perfectly good tortilla? Have a great weekend Benjamin. Allan

I will keep that in mind Geoff. It is hard to gauge. I had a long tale to tell that I am breaking into smaller pieces .

You know, I’ve always wanted to go to Target and Walmart. It feels like a major tourist thing to do in the US, like eating at all the fast food chains.

You know, I use all above mentioned as tools for the most part. I used to enjoy going to a place like McDonald’s, but it is greasy and overpriced. I suppose there is some touristy value in it.

I generally avoid fast food because it doesn’t suit my stomach, but it would be a tourist thing for sure

This is pretty funny. I also like shopping at Target. I don’t watch sports or tv for that matter just Netflix. Wow that sounded and looked like a delicious and hefty breakfast. The kind my husband eats. 🤗

Yes he is actually. Sometimes I am amazed at how much he can eat. I don’t know if I have ever had a duck egg before. Great post. 🤗💝
