Hello, Benjamin from Brothers Campfire here!
This has been a weekend!
Isabel successfully climbed a little over a quarter-mile switchbacking up a mountainside at Helen Hunt Falls and needed very little assistance getting back down.
There was no cell service to livestream and Isabel demanded privacy. So be it.
In other news, we planted giant pumpkins that are supposed to weigh over 200 lbs. If this happens, I don’t know how we will move them, but I am sure we will figure something out.
Living in Colorado, If you don’t like the weather, wait 15 minutes. The other day, we had a LOT of snow accumulation and it wrecked tree branches everywhere, causing them to be strewn all over the place.
I am not sure how many cubic yards of it was in my yard, but here is a picture of what is left.
In more spectacular news, I came home to see that my neighbors Justin and Natasha were building a house for me.
This was really cool, but I chose to let my ducks sleep there.
Justin was the mastermind here. Thank you Justin. Free eggs bro.
I was choked up and overwhelmed to see this. They are the best neighbors ever.
The driving force behind all of their coolness is Natasha’s husband Lopez. He is a quiet army veteran who keeps to himself but encourages Justin and Natasha to thrive in creativity.
I respect that and would like to hang out with Lopez a lot more. I might learn a thing or two about leadership.
Well, that is all for now. I hope you all have an excellent day!
So true about Colorado weather. Duck house is awesome. We want to build tiny house for people who visit.
Ha ha! Justin could build one!
My husband would love to use a railroad car or storage container.
That might be an idea!
Wonderful news, except for the Spring snow no matter how doggone pretty!! Sincere and ever amazed kudos to your wife. (You both hit a vein of gold, tho, when you married!)
That snow was rough on my new fruit trees.
She is an amazing woman!
You have wonderful neighbors.
I would say. He should start a blog called Duck House Man.
Great idea.
That is so awesome about Izzy accomplishing that hike ! I knew she could do it!! Great job my friend!! And wow! What a huge blessing for what your neighbors did! That was so sweet of them. It’s truly a blessing to have wonderful neighbors like that. He did an amazing job on the house. Way cool! 😎☕️🦆

This pumpkin could be Cinderela’s new coach.
Could be. I hear there is a place in Canada where they make boats out of them.
I was so happy Isabel did so well on hike. Tell I am so proud of her.
Will Do!
Way to go, Isabel. I read that you demand privacy. That’s cool. Still gonna say it nice and loud: WAY TO GO, ISABEL! 👊🏼
