Helen Hunt Falls to be Renamed Soon

Hello, Benjamin from Brothers Campfire here!

For those of you that are new to the Campfire, Isabel had a massive stroke on December 2, 2021 and is undergoing intense training to regain mobility.

So, next week, she look to tackle Helen Hunt Falls, challenging the mountainside.

She intends to get as far as possible so she can walk downhill on the return.

This will help her condition and develop the muscles necessary to run. It also gets her where she wants to be; outside in nature.

Trekking poles will be important to power up and maintain balance on the descent. A physical therapist has agreed to fashion a device to assist her left hand in utilizing a trekking pole, so she will be as ready as possible.

Isabel is prepared for the eventuality of losing her footing on this adventure. Where Helen Hunt falls, others are likely to as well.

To be honest, the Isabel Falls has a nice ring to it. Due to being aware of the risks associated with it all, Isabel is Hunting Falls just like Helen must have in the past.

In all seriousness, I support Isabel in her choice to get out there and trying more advanced adventures.
