Brothers Campfire Hammock Tutorial and Backyard Again II

Hello Friends!

It has been a full day here at Brother’s Campfire! I finished gardening by planting carrots and went on to the important things, playing fetch with Bubbles, my mini Australian Shepherd!

She NEVER gets tired!

Like the Beast in my story, I can be sentimental about little things! Down the road, we will be mortal enemies!

Scourge of the Garden!

Today, we put up a hammock!

How did I get Up Here?

I am going to show you how I get into one when it is higher in the air than normal! First, you place an arm on each side of the hammock.

Next, wedge your elbows in the hammock and pull down while moving forward.

The toughest part is lifting your leg behind you and tucking it in the folds like you did with your elbows.

I am a little strained here! Hurry and take the picture!

The next part is easy. Pull your other leg in and tuck it in as well! If you slip a little like I did, just keep your feet pointed into the hammock.

Ha Ha! I “planned” this.
Me pulling my legs in and tightly pulling the hammock around me like a blanket.

Securely in the fabric, turn your body around and move upright! The hammock will make this feel natural.

Whoa! Did I just do that? You can as well. It is easy!

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial! Now you get to see what it is really like!

The fire burns low and it is getting dark. Thank you for visiting today!

I’m too old, fat, and injured for that kind of athletic hammock entry. But it was great to see that you held acrobatic positions long enough for photos!!

    Wow! That was amazing!
I’ve never trusted one of those things to hold me though.
    That bug looks beyond creepy.

Yes sir it is. Thus I must be careful. My shopping habit is very important to me but not enough to be homeless. Lol.
