God Set A Bow In The Cloud

Hello! Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

It rained recently and I saw the most unbelievable rainbow. You would have had to have been there to have seen the entire spectrum of color. It was huge!

It is neat that the rainbow represents a promise from God.

I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
Genesis 9:13 KJV

and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
Genesis 9:15‭-‬17 KJV

I am thankful that I got to experience this today.

It was! I spent a good half an hour looking at it. It was the largest rainbow I have ever seen.

Great pictures! My photos never quite capture the the vividness of a rainbow, but these turned out really well.

It’s a nice rainbow. It is universal. May the coronavirus subside and a rainbow cross the border.

Thanks! They do not demonstrate what I saw, however. It was much better in real life! 🤠🔥

That’s a beauty! Rainbows always make the world a little bit more magical, even though we know it’s just light refraction, because you can’t quantify and explain the awe feeling. Specially if you can imagine a grumpy guy with a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow 🤣

I hope you didn’t contain the excitement. God loves it when we get excited, especially over His handiwork. When my daughter first got her license, and would see a rainbow during her drive home, she’d drive toward it trying to find the end. She’d usually run out of road chasing rainbows. 😊

That is way cool! I spent about an hour out there taking pictures and acting all kinds of silly about it! My daughter will be taking driver’s education in January.
