Brothers Campfire Duck Duck Goose

Hello Friends!

My little duckies have arrived.

I am so excited to see how they do! Here is a quick video!

I am on a big crunch for time today, but I will most assuredly keep the Campfire up to date!

We had baby ducks when we were very little, only 2 ducks though!! My uncle gave them to us and my mother was not happy!! We moved them to my Uncle’s farm! Was always fun to go visit our ducks though!!

They are so cute when they are babies! What many do not realize is every 50 pounds of feed turns into 35 pounds of 💩! I am glad they had a place to go afterwards!

I ordered 14 ducks and 1 goose. They gave me an extra duck. 2 died. The rest are quite healthy. Apparently they have enough food in their bodies to last 3 days when they are hatched.

I love ducklings! I raised some earlier this year, and they are just about fully developed.
    Did you order khaki campbells?

I did order Khaki Campbells. They lay a lot of eggs! Do you have a post about them Rose? I would really like to see them!

I have raised chickens from chicks, but this is my first go at ducks. I was given grown ducks before.

I was reading a post somewhere about that. Do you feed your little visitor?

I love birds. I talk to a Bluejay pretty frequently and she visits about once a week.

Sounds delicious. Going well, I keep waking up expecting to go for a walk, only to realise I can’t! I have balanced out my energy centres recently and actually feel pretty good mentally. 😀

I am actually half way through Ravage by Iain Rob Wright, but haven’t read any for a while, as my motivation plummeted!
