Hello Friends!
Several weeks ago, a cracked tooth finally broke. Sorry, Lydia, here it is again. (She does not like this kind of stuff)
Above and below are unflattering pictures at best, but I have 24 functional teeth now!
The dentist is the last place I wish to go. When I was a teen, the dentist called my mouth a pigsty and cursed while she worked. I felt very degraded. Later in life, I was having work done and the dose of medicine they gave was insufficient for the amount of pain I incurred. I was told I was a druggie and had low pain tolorance. As a young man, I took it as a challenge and endured. Several years later, a dentist and assistant lost thier job for stealing medication. The doses of pain killer were likely watered down or just water according to the news.
That being said, my anxiety is high when I go to have my teeth looked at.
In the instance of Fountain Modern Dentistry, my experience has been the exact opposite.
From the moment I walked in for my initial apointment to the time my crown was (installed?), I felt safe.
I would like to thank Linda in particular for being such an amazing person in her method of treatment.
I looked for her mug on the website, but apparently you have to be a dentist to have that distinction.
Dear Linda,
You were personable and relatable. It was you that made my proceedure possible and you are what makes Fountain Modern Dentistry what it is!
Linda, you treated me with dignity and respect. You were intuitive in pain management and knowledgeable in all areas, answering all my concerns.
I know my teeth are not a good advertisment for Fountain Modern Dentistry, but you sure are!
Thank you!
Now that I have shown my appreciation, let me tell you something I have learned the hard way.
Do not use your face to block punches….
Sounds like you finally found the right place. Thanks for the link. Yes, faces were made to look at or shovel food into, not for blocking punches with.
Thanks for the advice!
What are you supposed to block punches with then. Have I been doing this all wrong.
I heard you are supposed to drink punches, and get a designated driver.
That sounds right.
Blocking punches with words is definitely more effective.
Happy recovery!
I totally agree.
Thank you for agreeing sir.
Oh and now that you have gotten yourself a crown, shouldn’t it be sire?😂
Ha ha! Perhaps in another place. Here, in America, all men are created on equal footing. At least it should be that way.
indeed all men are created equal. But not all die equal.
We all lay in the earth at the end.
Our bodies indeed do. I don’t believe that I am my body.
Our spirit goes to God who gave it.
I have a different personal belief, but I understand what you say.
Hahaha you explained in marvelous way and I really enjoy and after end learned so much good post 🙏🤗👍👏👏
So sorry that your former dentists treated you so horribly- Or even stole medication while their patients literally had to suffer from it? It’s always very… irritating, to say the least, that people like these work in this profession which *normally* requires honour, compassion and empathy- 🤔
I’m glad you’re in good hands now! VVN
It is all good! I am glad I have a good dentist as well! How are things?
They did a great job!
Thank you!
You made the best of a bad situation.
I gave it a go!
Thumbs up
OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!
Indeed!
Glad you finally found a dentist you trust and who treats you well. I can certainly empathize with the damage done during medical mistreatment as a child.
Thank you for your empathy. Indeed, it is nice to have a great dentist!
Finally you got the correct place friend !! 🌻
Ha ha! I suppose you are right!
Good on you for fixing your teeth! I need to go to the dentist soon too 😑
Never fun seeing the dentist. The ones I went to were pretty good!
I had the same experience–not a front tooth and not a crown but had to see the dentist amidst the pandemic. I too hate going but oh well. I like the new look much better on you!
Thank you! I suppose in prehistory, a dentist would have been quite welcome in some instances. 🤠🔥
