Brothers Campfire Deep Breaths, Survival Games, And Ticking Alarm Clocks

Hello!

Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

Today was my second day back to work. Breathing…. Is difficult. I managed to walk 4.86 miles and I am exhausted. When I walk fast, I am quickly out of breath. Just about a dozen folks have told me, “don’t walk fast then.”

It is bigger than that. If my lungs have been hurt by Covid, I will have to build them back up the best I can. I will be needing them for a while after all.

I will get back to writing as soon as I can. I had a routine and I need to get back into it. Before getting sick, I was getting up at 5 AM and going to bed at 10 PM for a full day of work, family time and writing. I am setting alarm clock back 15 minutes every day to get back on where I was.

Publicly, I am thinking of posting approximate prayer time, Bible reading, weight, and steps walked. We will see. I want to have block prayer time and have a prayerful mindset through the day.

I appreciate the support I have gotten through all this to include the special reader who purchased a subscription to a text based survival game. That was very thoughtful of you. Yes, I know you want to remain anonymous, but I thank you. You are an amazing encouragement!

Well, that is all for now. I look forward to writing more chapters of the Ongoing Tale, but things keep happening.

Have a beautiful day wherever you are!

Sorry to hear about the breathing issues. This part seems to linger in some. Hope it eases soon and you can continue to walk fast, despite what others tell you. Allan

Hey Benjamin! It does take a little time to get those lungs back to normal, but it will happen. Yep, don’t push yourself too much though. Have a great day, God bless!😀😺🌞

Just take it easy with building your lungs back up. Lungs are one of the slowest organs when it comes to tissue renewal and it can take months for the cells to be replaced, that’s why pneumonia is so damaging. Also, many reports indicate post-Covid problems like blod clots and lung emboly, so don’t be too adventurous. I had some problems and general fatigue for about half a year after Covid, so try not to underestimate anything you feel. Your body is not going anywhere, so don’t push it too much too soon…

Fair Enough. You are not the only one to impart this. I appreciate it. I just planned to walk 50 miles in 24 hours and this will ruin my goal.

As someone with a history of lung issues I have to ask if you’ve researched your recovery plan? I know damage builds scar tissue in the lungs. I fear that pushing too much too soon will increase the scar tissue rather “build up” your lungs. But I honestly don’t know.

    Please be careful!!

Great to see you back on your feet. Take it slow. My bought was in November and I still feel the effects. You don’t need to run a marathon
