Brothers Campfire Breaks The Ice!

Hello! Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire Here!

We finally got a little snow! After breaking up the ice, which was more of a slurry, I watered the ducks.

I had to kinda drive them that way because they wanted to stay under the porch away from the snow. Waterfowl generate a lot of heat and I was hoping their warmth and the splashing around would keep it from refreezing.

Sorry about the blue. Snow pictures are tough.

School was canceled today and it was hard to go off to work.

Work was uneventful, which is always a good thing.

Wednesday through Fridays are tough for blogging. I try to get as many work hours packed in as possible.

It has been nice to have my sister Ashley T posting on a regular to keep the Campfire blazing!

Isabel, my Beloved may throw in and write here and there. We would love to hear her perspective!

Well, stay warm if you are in a cold place!

We have about 6 inches. Providing that they eat and drink, they will be fine. 🤠🔥

We have the cold on the Western Slope, but no no snow. We aren’t complaining. This former New Englander has survived many a NorEaster and massive ice storm.

Oh I have just tested and it seems to be ok now. My WP has been doing some strange things lately like unfollow blogs, access issues….not sure why. I will try to test post 1

Hi Benjamin! Nice to see you got some snow. We had another 6 inches this week, that makes 52 inches for us this winter so far. But it warmed up a bit, it was only -17F this morning, but the wind makes it feel colder. Hope your wife is able to do some posts. Yep, snow pics like to turn blue, I have the same problem sometimes. Hope you have a great day!😀😺🌞☕☕

Hello Steve! I can’t predict the weather, but it is likely to melt soon. It has been cold, but not near as old as you describe! 🤠🔥☕

I hope our bitter cold is behind us now. Feb is not usually a cold month, but it can be a snowy month. I think you probably need a bit more snow yet. Make sure you get yourself enough rest, don’t want you getting sick right now!😀😺🌞☕☕
