A New Adventurer Emerges

Hello, Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

Colorado Springs began free bus rides for the summer of 2025. Obviously,  everyone (taxpayers?) is paying for them, so I encouraged my son to try his hand at navigation of the routes while it is free.

He did, ending up in Manitou, Colorado, and climbed the Pikes Peak incline, returning home. It isn’t my story to tell, but I am pretty excited he did it.

His View From the Top

My day included marathon training. Today’s run was an 11 miler, a 5K, and a mile run. All told, I ran 15.8 miles / 25.4 kilometers.

I spent some of my miles in the Jimmy Camp area of Fountain Colorado.  While beautiful, it lacks the hills required for day to day training.  I am not sure if you need an account, but if you want to see some runs I have completed in the past, they are recorded in my Strava.
