Brothers Campfire A Grouchy Beast -An Ongoing Tale Chapter 126

Startling everyone, Jeptha Berengar, known as Beast came to the fire.

“WHERE IS SHEPHERDS CROOK MAN?”

Demanded Beast.

Brother sat by the campfire with a blanket over his shoulders. ” Why, he left in the night with his bride and his sheep, Jeptha!”

“Good to see you this morning, friend!”

Beast grumbled. He had found his pet cat and he held it in one arm. “WHERE SHOULD BEAST LIVE? HERE OR LA LONGI?”

Brother smiled at his friend. He was proud of him. He had learned reading, cooking, and swordsmanship all in one year. “You know, you can come and go as you please, Jeptha. It’s your way to wander around. Just know you always have a place in Northwich, friend!

Beast was agitated. This was nothing new, but it left an unsettling feeling.

“WHY THE SHEPHERD CROOK MAN NOT SAY GOODBYE?”

Brother was patient.

“He had to leave quickly, Jeptha. I am sure he wanted to.”

“WHAT OF THE SCHOOL?”

“Strangest thing happened, Jeptha. A man with a potters wheel came to camp and he said he and his wife were asked to fill the need at the school. They will conduct services here as well.”

“GRRRR. I WILL MISS SHEPHERD’S CROOK MAN. HE TAUGHT ME GOOD THINGS.”

Friend, he represents spritual authority. He likely never left us comfortless. He will come again.

Never read any christian scripture to be honest. Neither any scripture of the other abrahamanic religions. But I have insight to Wikipedia for sure. 😉

As of now I am reading scriptures of my own religion. But will read the bible in the future.

Difficult to find most of the sacred texts of my religion online. Very few people read them and most have been either lost or destroyed.

Most people call it hinduism. But that is a name of persian origin. It is actually named ‘Sanatan Dharm’ meaning universal ethics/morals
