Patagonia Spitting in a Vial and Grubbing,

Yesterday started strong for my Beloved with a thick bowl of oatmeal and bananas, fried potatoes, eggs and coffee.

Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

She had already eaten most of it before I arrived, indicating a significant amount of change in independence.

I brought her Patagonia hat to set the tone for the adventure of Physical Therapy. She has been amped up and ready to go.

Physical Therapy is a private endevour so I opted for the cafeteria.

It was closed.

Taco Bell was not, so I sauntered on down the road.

Now, if you know me, and many of you do, I am not much of a saunterer.

A typical day is around 17,000 steps. The average American tends to cover less ground.

Moving a refrigerator killed my back the other day, so saunter I will. Stress has not helped the healing process and stretching is in order.

I did not forget my Beloved and got her a Taco Supreme with guacamole.

I like this floor. They have been taking good care of my Beloved’s needs. They are all heart and hard work and it is much appreciated. Morale is high here.

There are other parts of Physical Therapy I participated in. We bowled using a wii and I was soundly destroyed.

Out of focus like my bowling

After a long rest, we opened a Christmas present early.

Spitting in a vial for exorbitant amounts of cash was a new experience for the both of us. We will see if we have ancestors soon.

After all that, I pushed her wheelchair around and we listened to the “Mission Impossible” theme song. (She was in it)

t made my Beloved happy

I’m so glad she’s getting her activities of daily living back, Ben! And it looks like the Wii is making her time in the hospital more bareable and that’s a good thing! And the Wii is definitely good for coordination! Continued prayers for you both! 🙏🙏🙏

23 and Me. I asked mom. We may do it, too. We did the Ancestry.com one but she says this is a better, or at least significantly different, one.

Oh my gosh, I hadn’t had the time to check out your blog in a while due to our house renovation and reading about your wife’s stroke was a shock. I’m so glad she’s okay and doing better, I wish her all the health in the world and a fast recovery! I hope you’ll all stay strong and try to have a nice holiday time together despite the covid restrictions and hospital stuff.
