Zippity Do Da At Brothers Campfire

Hello, Benjamin from Brothers Campfire here!

I was tasked with the installation of a rather large zip line.

The line may be up to 100 yards long with a return for the harness. I will be meeting with the funder of this project today.

You Tube University will be my guide, so wish me well.

What I imagine will happen

In other news, now that I have a sturdy anvil,

I wish to get started on building a forge soon. I will be on the lookout for suitable materials. I might make another one out of plaster and sand, but they do not hold heat as well as other materials. Some of the forge liners are toxic and need to be properly maintained so as not to breath them when the forge is in operation.

I am concerned about health and safety first. Down the road, I may purchase one, but the DIY is part of the journey.

To be frank, I enjoy the independance of building a hobby from raw material over commercial products even though they may be more effective. An example of this is gathering clay, processing and forming, and then firing it in The Campfire.

The zip line on the other hand, that needs to be as safe as possible, so I dont plan on manufacturing parts from the scrapyard.
