Hello from Brothers Campfire!

April 30, 2023

Hello!

Benjamin from Brothers Campfire here!

It has been quite a while since I have blogged.

The months have been full, but I have not been. In the timeframes of January 10, 2023, and March 21, 2023, I lost 41 pounds in a weight loss competition, so the hunger was/is real.

In April 2023, I was in a car accident, sustaining a nice injury to my lower jaw. While I passed all the neurological tests, I am not headache free and remain a little punch drunk.

Mid-April brought my 40th birthday. That was pretty cool.

Finally, this time of year brings me to gardening season and with it all of the work involved.

In semi-arid Colorado, green grass is an overrated holdout from the British Empire so I have begun the task of turning luscious and costly Kentucky bluegrass into thick piles of mulch. Planting begins tomorrow, and will continue for the next two weeks or so.

Well, that is all for now. Thanks for stopping by!

Your diet turned out well. That birthday card with the candy wrappers may be the most imaginative one I have ever seen. Hope you fully recover from your car accident.

Thank you! I was reading about your research and I discovered on 23 and me that I have more Neanderthal DNA than 66 percent of our population. Excellent read! The 3d printed flute sounded cool as well!

Hi Benjamin, sorry to hear about your car accident, but I’m glad to know that you passed all the neurological tests. I too had a terrible road accident last year, which resulted in a few fancy stitches on my forehead.

Anyways, congratulations on your weight loss achievement. Take care!

What happened?!? Is the headache going to go away gradually as it heals?
Love the birthday board, it’s quirky and you, people made that for you clearly love you very much

Hello! I somehow hit a guardrail, and either hit the steering wheel or the air bag got me. My lower jaw was busted wide open and it looked like I had two sets of lips.

I loved the birthday board as well!

      Thank you Cassa Bassa!

Praying for a complete healing, a God given jaw that chews better than a horse chews grass…so to speak..
        Sounds a bit wierd…
