My family is ever expanding to include some of you here at the Campfire. To all of my readers and extended family, I want you to know I am greatly appreciative. I thoroughly enjoy virtually roasting marshmallows and drinking coffee with you.
Family is important, and in Colorado Springs, a city that has ever changing residents from the military bases, building strong bonds to stay connected with family is sometimes a difficult but worthwhile task.
I am an Army brat, and due to moving, there are blood relations that I have not seen in 20 plus years. On occasion, one of them reaches out or I reach out to them, and I am continually amused by the preconceived notions some of them possess that do not accurately convey who me or my immediate family. All they know or remember is the past.
My parents uprooted long ago and for the better. The transition was tough, and as I feel more comfortable I will write about it. In my opinion, we traveled West in pursuit of a place to be transplanted and thrive.
I have become disconnected from my original roots and have taken to adopting, or choosing my family. It may be strange to some, but it is how we roll. And thrive we have, in the blessings of the Lord.
As our roots took hold, a few shoots were grafted into our family tree and some new branches were added. I am beginning to lose track of my little brothers and sisters, nieces, and nephews. Not really! I know each and everyone, especially my Aunty Bev and Amber. Uh oh, I am playing favorites.
Yesterday, I was approached by a young lady who told me she has a Christmas gift she cannot wait for me to open. I cannot wait! Family is where it is for me!
I write with purpose today, and am reaching out on behalf of a family.
It’s what we do here at the Campfire.
My friend, Nirmalya Sengupta from Pune, India has lost his manufacturing job due to Covid and is looking for work and willing to relocate. Like anywhere on the planet.
He needs work, and not work where they steal your passport and work you into an early grave.
Nirmalya is the sole provider for his family and is a caretaker for his father who lives with them.
Think of how many people you know that just dump their father off at the nearest end of life home. It is just disappointing.
Not Nirmalya Sengupta. He has character and is in desperate need of employment and reached out to the Campfire. Family takes care of family and his value toward life and elders is respected here.
I had to pry the backstory out of this man and it wasn’t necessarily easy. He is a man’s man looking not for a hand out, but a fair shake and an honest day’s work.

We have pizza? …. Lol! We have pizza and Coca Cola on Christmas as a family tradition. At the prison I will be preparing a roast beef meal with a sack lunch to bring back to the cellhouse.

I don’t know ANY details, but I know Herbalife is opening, or has opened, a large manufacturing plant somewhere in India. They provide outstanding employee benefits & pay. If I learn more, I’ll pass it on.
To be clear… that’s not “distributor”, “multi-level marketing” work. It will be office, laboratory, and manufacturing/pkg positions.
