Brothers Campfire Goes Back To Work

Benjamin from Brothers Campfire here!

Yesterday, we stopped by a house with a tree full of apples and asked to pick them. We were given the green light and picked most of the tree.

This morning was a mad rush to get out to work; I had a week off and it is time to get back to the office. I have a new boss who I will be meeting today. We will sew how that goes!

It has been quite an apple season in my corner of the world, too. I did have lots of helpers for the picking, though, which I appreciated. Have a great day!

We had high hopes when we planted a honey crisp because we all love them. We planted about eight years ago. That one has done ok. We also have what we think was a mislabeled golden delicious which has done equally ok. But it’s our red delicious that absolutely exploded. It is easily three times the size of the other two trees and produces somewhere in the neighborhood of six hundred apples. Fortunately, they have proven versatile and I really do like them. Nothing like what the grocery store calls a red delicious.

Me as well. I wonder if a “juice press” will work. Apples are fairly durable.

Been a week, it appears, from outside looking in on what you’ve shared, of ‘getting back to your core – dreams, hopes, challenges – By the time you read this? Most likely – the meeting of new boss is over – and well – – you’re back to work and have one day under your belt on the new, the old, the changing –

May all the rest, introspection you had time to do previously, be your guidepost for the back to work/why I do what I do daily life! Take care of you – and I do so hope, the meeting went well for ya!

Those apples definitely look yummy. I’ve been telling my husband to plant some fruit trees at our backyard, only if he listens😁
