Brothers Campfire Gets His Grub On

Hello, Benjamin from Brothers Campfire here!

I met with the family that wanted me to complete a zip line install. It will be in this forested area, will be 159 feet with a top height of around 20 feet and have a drop of 3 to 6 degrees.

The parts are ordered. I am a bit nervous as I made the part recommendations and have never installed one. They know this up front but insisted. I consider this a large purchase and I feel the weight of it.

I relaxed most of the day, but also got a few things done.

First off, I had an epic breakfast of duck eggs and toast.

We went out for a bit of shopping and made dollar store nachos.

During my travels, I discovered that no one knew it was Mother Cabrini day. Our governor must not have realized you cant just make a holiday up and expect folks to embrace it.

Well, unless there is food. There has to be food with holidays to make them stick.

We stopped by Big R and Lowes and picked up feed for the birds, daffodil bulbs, discount latex paint, and a few concrete blocks.

In total, I planted 50 bulbs, and painted the bases of the fruit trees to regulate temperature when it gets cold.

Dinner was ribs, rice, and spinach. I ate well.

Well, I am off to work. I will be writing a few memos and talking with a lot of incarcerated folks.

Have a beautiful day!

Yeah, it was! The owner wants me to document the setup with video. That will be fun as well.
